Rimini Software was founded in 2009 and provides technical services including web development, custom programming, cloud-based solutions, hosting services, and project management. We provide the technical expertise, leadership and management experience to make complex website and software development projects a success. 

John Sherwin
Owner, Information and Solutions Architect

John has more than 15 years experience building business solutions for clients in the telecommunication and entertainment industries across the US and Europe. He was a technical and business process consultant with Accenture, solutions architect in Accenture's Seattle Mobile Commerce Lab, member of the Accenture's Microsoft Solutions Organization and a technical/development lead in Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division focusing on data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics. 

John has executed and managed projects of all sizes and lead successful projects with remote teams in Europe, China, India and South America. He has worked with clients like Microsoft, QWest, AT&T, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Royal Dutch Telecom (KPN) and Hutchinson 3G. John's roles at Rimini include business solutions architect, principle client engagement partner, technical lead, web and database developer and all around computer expert/nerd. He is especially passionate about solving problems and creating ease with novel and elegant uses of technology. He greatly enjoys engaging and partnering with clients for success.

John is an avid outdoorsman and favors outdoor exercise including trail running, backcountry skiing, backpacking, mountaineering and sea kayaking. He loves to spend time with his wife Annie and "kids" (2 Siberian Huskies, cat and our horse). In his spare time, he tinkers on his house and dabbles in his passions, music and physics, and can be a bit of a mad scientist at times. He is a Sierra Club Climate Recovery Campaign team leader and is also a licensed massage practitioner and human anatomy junkie.
